Terms of Service

These terms cover your purchase and use of The Jade Casket Almanac 2027 (the “product”), a PDF calendar published by Jade Casket Press (the “publisher”, “we”). By buying the product you accept them.

1. What you are buying

A single digital file: one PDF, 33 pages, covering the twelve months of 2027. It is delivered as a download link in your confirmation email and remains available in the customer portal. Nothing is shipped. No subscription is created and no recurring charge is made.

2. Price and tax

The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Sales tax, VAT, or GST is calculated at checkout according to your country and is shown before you confirm the order. Our payment provider is the merchant of record and remits that tax on our behalf.

3. License — personal use only

When you buy the product, you may:

• read it, keep it, and print it for your own use;
• store it on your own devices and in your own cloud storage;
• print pages for your own household.

You may not:

• resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the file or any part of it;
• upload it to a public file host, forum, or marketplace;
• use it as part of a paid service or a product you sell;
• remove the copyright notice or the license notice from the file.

4. What the product is, and is not

The product is a reference calendar. Its dated entries restate what a Ming-dynasty almanac says about groups of days, in English, with the source passage cited.

It is not a personal reading, not a prediction, and not advice of any kind — legal, medical, financial, or otherwise. No birth date is requested and none is used. No outcome is promised, and no result is guaranteed. Decisions you take remain yours.

5. Refunds

Seven days from the date of purchase, no questions asked. Write to songjiq1010@gmail.com with the order number and the payment is returned by the same method. We do not require you to explain why.

6. Delivery problems

If the download link does not arrive or does not work, write to the same address and we will send a fresh link or refund the order, whichever you prefer.

7. Updates and versions

The file carries a version number. If we correct an error in the 2027 edition, we send the corrected file to everyone who bought it, at no charge, to the email used at purchase. Corrections do not change the license terms.

8. Intellectual property

The underlying text is a public-domain Ming-dynasty almanac. The English restatement, the layout, the glossary, the index, and the files themselves are ours. The name “The Jade Casket Almanac” and the imprint “Jade Casket Press” are ours. Nothing in these terms transfers them.

9. Liability

The product is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with the product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing terms and changes

We may update these terms for future editions; the version that applies to your purchase is the one in force on the date you bought the product. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stands.
